The seaside area around Budva, known as the Budva riviera, is the center of Montenegrin tourism, known for its nicely maintained medieval town, soft sand beaches and great night life. Budva is 2,500 years old, which makes it one of the oldest towns on the Adriatic shore. It is the base for mass tourism, while in its surroundings there are high-class resorts for instance Milocer and well-known Sveti Stefan. Budva is abundant in cultural buildings and monuments. The Old town is settled a tiny cape and stands for a treasure chest of culture heritage. Beaches in Budva

The Budva riviera has a couple of the most beautiful beaches in Montenegro, and the most enjoyable atmospheric conditions in this part of Europe. More to the south, there are a number of little beaches and tourist resorts, that make up the more luxury and premium part of Budva riviera. This is particularly true for the well-known Sveti Stefan resort, but also for various other smaller sized villages in the region, that formerly were basic fishing settlements. Region of Sveti Stefan and Przno, involving Milocer town with its park and remote beaches, is probably the most unique spot of Montenegrin coast.
